Spectra-Coax planar cable is coaxial cable
that can be mass terminated. Used in high
speed computers and other digital equipment,
coax planar cable combines economy of time
and money through reliability, space and labor
savings. Manufactured with controlled signal to
signal centers, Spectra-Coax cable consists of
individual solid conductors, each with foamed or
solid polypropylene insulation, a foil shield, and an
oriented drain wire. An extruded contoured outer jacket
allows mass termination or separation and stripping of conductors.
This standard flat cable can be cut to any
length and still maintain controlled centers.
Spectra-Strip can also custom design a coax planar
cable for your exact needs. For other gauges,
spacing and materials, please consult the factory.
